It's a dazzling concert event that showcases one of pop music's most beloved artists. Treat yourself to a magical evening of unforgettable hits by music's "Polish Prince" when the Austin Symphony Orchestra welcomes the legendary Bobby Vinton. Vinton opens the 2007-08 season of Sarah & Ernest Butler Pops concerts on October 6 at Riverbend Centre. This concert is being proudly sponsored by ExxonMobil.

Known for such hits as "Blue Velvet" and "Mr. Lonely," Bobby Vinton has been hailed by Billboard magazine as "the all time most successful love singer of the 'rock era.'" Vinton is the "total entertainer," pulling out all the stops in this full-stage musical gala. His songs are recognized as standards throughout the world, and his music has retained its vitality and relevance through our changing times. Bobby's hit-making capability was evidenced with the release of "My Melody of Love," when it became the #1 song in the nation and was embraced by Polish Americans around the country as their new national anthem. Join Maestro Peter Bay and the Austin Symphony for an evening you will not want to miss.
